Whether creating a relaxed atmosphere in a quiet setting or swinging with a combo in a lively hall, John aims to share the enjoyment of music with others. He plays solo piano at such venues as the Lanam Club Andover, MA, and corporate functions including Gillette Stadium,Foxboro MA. He also plays in a duo accompanying a vocalist or other instrumentalists. And if a band is needed, John works with a small ensemble for weddings, and other functions involving dancing.

With his parents' love and support, John's interest in music was awakened by Leonard Bernstein's "Young People's Concerts". His passion for piano, several years of lessons and appreciation of the "Great American Songbook" led him to study with local jazz pros: Sully Borrelli of Lawrence, Charlie Banacos of Beverly and Al Vega of Everett . John remains ever grateful for their guidance and generosity.

Having a well-tuned ear and agility on the keys, John excited audiences playing everything from Ellington to the Beatles. A full time musician, John plays solo, as an accompanist and in small ensembles at venues ranging from Maine seacoast inns to Boston hotels.

John has performed as a general business musician in venues small to large including The Lanam Club, Andover MA, Regatta Bar, Cambridge MA, The Rockport Art Association, Rockport MA, Omni Parker Hotel, Boston MA, The Taj, Boston MA, Gillette Stadium, NY Yacht Club, Newport RI, The Chapel of Hope, Naval Station, Newport RI, Westport Playhouse, Westport CT, Currier Museum, Manchester NH, Newagen Seaside Inn, Southport ME… etc.
